Volker
Mann
Volker discovered yoga in 2004 when living and working in
China and looking for a method to both calm the mind and exercise
the body.
Yoga changed his life since then, and he finally decided to
quit his corporate job in order to dedicate more time for
yoga. He studied with international teachers like Paul
Dallaghan, Pablo Alvarez and Bela Lipat and took a 200-hours
teacher training with Lance Schuler to become a yoga teacher.
He started teaching in Shanghai’s premier yoga studio, Yplus,
before he moved to KL in 2009, where he now is teaching at
several places and studios.
Volker has always been passionate to share with others the
positive experiences that have happened in his life. In his
classes, he focuses on proper breathing and correct alignment
of the poses. Previous teaching experiences in gymnastics
and dancing have proved to be very beneficial.
Beside the classical Hatha yoga disciplines, Ashtanga and
Vinyasa Flow, he enjoys practicing and teaching Acro Yoga.
